Low-ABV Negroni Recipe

We've all been there. We fancy a cocktail, but really not sure if want something 'that' boozy.

Well, at Mindful HQ we've actually been enjoying a couple of weeks off the booze,  but then we couldn't really go through Negroni Week without taking part and giving ourselves a little treat.

Which is why, after a very long day in the kitchen, we decided to go all out and partake in a delicious 'end of week' Negroni; Mindful Mixology style.

Negroni

By substituting one of the three ingredients with an alcohol-free product, you can lower the abv without compromising on taste. And with the wealth of products out there at the moment, it really is quite fun looking out for products and giving them a try!

We've done the hard work for you with this Negroni, using the classic Seedlip that broke the market in terms of no-abv spirits, and also comes in handy little bottles courtesy of @hollandandbarrett.

If you're not sure, this 20cl bottle is the perfect "tester" size.

Ingredients:

Equal parts; Seedlip, Martini Rosso, Campari

Method:

Simply pour the ingredients into a mixing glass with cubed ice.

Stir until the glass becomes very chilled.

Strain into a short glass with a big lump/cube/sphere of ice (so the dilution is minimal).

Add an orange wheel or orange zest (the orange garnish is really key here! It brings it all together nicely).

Enjoy!
